The Copperbelt Health Education Project (CHEP) is a National Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)  has in the past 28 years of  operated on the Copperbelt , Southern, Eastern ,Central, Lusaka, Luapula and North Western Provinces focusing on Health and Development work.  CHEP has carried out activities on the prevention of further spread of HIV, Malaria and TB and other developmental activities.

CHEP has gone into partnership with PACT through implementation of the Z-CHPP Project, which is a USAID project. The project has two components (DREAMS and CHIV). The hired Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will oversee the M&E activities in the two components.


Reporting to the Project Manager, responsible for the overall coordination of Z-CHPP (DREAMS and CHIV project) data collection and reporting of service delivery against the indicators. He/She will ensure quality of data through the routine verification of data procedures. He/She will be required to periodically visit all project sites in the two districts and offer technical support relating to data collection and analysis.


  • Manage and conduct overall Project data collection and analysis processes relevant to the Program indicators.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular monitoring visits to project sites in the Ndola and Kitwe
  • Monitor data collection and analysis ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Contribute to the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Supervise the staff under the project M&E section.
  • Participate actively in proposal development


  • A holder of a Degreein a discipline appropriate to the position. Specialization is required such as Social science, Statistics, Mathematics, Demography, Public health or an equivalent job related- field. A degree in relevant field will be added advantage.
  • Three or more years work experience in M&E for social or development programmes.
  • Knowledge and experience on how to synthesize quantitative data into simple info graphics for donor and other stakeholder consumption.
  • Good knowledge and application of data entry, analysis and presentation software eg SPSS, Excel
  • Ability to multitask with ease, adapting to frequency changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with PEPFAR indicators and reporting requirements
  • Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office), Internet, Power point.
