Food and Beverage Manager | The Urban Hotel Ndola | | Full-Time


The Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for leading and driving the Food and Beverage team to excellence, grooming the team from‘good’ to ‘great’ and achieve the targeted team member satisfaction.  He/She will be responsible for achieving the highest customer satisfaction, brand and quality standards, as well as bringing creativity and variety to our food & beverage offering, while working in a clean and safe environment. Further he/she will manage the financial aspects of the department to achieve the budgeted revenues, profit and food & beverage costs whilst maintaining food and beverage quality.


  • Work closely with Chef to order supplies and plan fine dining menus
  • Design and implement Training Programmes for F&B staff
  • Set up and monitor stock control systems and produce monthly reports accordingly.
  • Plan and prepare F&B budgets.
  • Constantly review product range to ensure set quality standards are maintained.


  • Minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality management in a similar role .
  • Professional, articulate, friendly.
  • Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
  • Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays).
  • Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel etc.
